Builder's Day in Moldova will be celebrated on September 14, rather than on the second Sunday in August, as it has been until now.

The Cabinet of Ministers approved the corresponding decision today. The change was made following discussions between companies and social partners in the construction sector, which determined that the second Sunday in August coincides with the holiday period and peak activity in the sector, making it difficult to organize and participate in events dedicated to the holiday. Therefore, Construction Worker's Day in our country, celebrated on September 14, coincides with Construction Worker's Day in Romania, allowing all construction workers to participate more broadly and in a more organized manner thanks to close cooperation between companies and workers in both countries.
